102 - THE FIRST CUT IS THE DEEPEST
MVO: To make friends. You need boundaries. Between you and the rest of the world.
CRISTINA: Since when does a possession of ovaries become an insult?
CRISTINA: Because I grew up in Beverley Hills. The only Chinese I know is from a Mr. Chow’s menu. Besides I’m Korean.
MVO: Boundaries don’t keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That’s how we’re made.
MVO: So you can waste your life drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them.
Meredith 本來打算賣掉媽媽留下來的房子,後來想想還是留下來好了,但是他想找兩個室友. 同為 intern 的 Izzie 跟 George 想搬進去,但是 Meredith 覺得他們每個禮拜在醫院一起工作 100 小時就算了,回家還要面對彼此,不煩嗎? Meredith 覺得人與人之間都要有'界限',但是後來他發現'界限'不會把別人隔絕,反而把自己給疏離,最後他想通了, Izzie 跟 George 也變成他的室友.
人與人的遠近親疏本來就有程度上的不同,如果強迫自己一定要設限的話不見得是好事.我覺得要量'情'吧,有些感覺是沒法子控制的.
